On 24 August 2022, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat together with ASEAN Ambassadors (ACBA – ASEAN Committee in Buenos Aires) visited Catamarca Province and held talks with Governor Raúl Alejandro Jalil and Vice Governor Rubén Dusso at the Government House, in the presence of Production Secretary José Ignacio de Mendiguren and representatives from Chilean regional government of Atacama, to explore trade and investment opportunities of the ATACALAR region, and discussed Catamarca mining industry and the Lithium Triangle with the Province’s Mining Minister Marcelo Murúa.
