On 11 February 2025, Mr Krit Tankanarat, Ambassador of Thailand to Argentina met with Mr Darío Giussi, General Manager and CEO of INVAP, at the company’s headquarters in Bariloche, Río Negro Province. During the meeting the Ambassador received a briefing on INVAP’s role as a major enterprise of Río Negro province, its business potential, and opportunities for collaboration in four key areas where the company excels: nuclear technology, nuclear medicine, space and satellites technology, and radar technology.

The Ambassador highlighted Thailand’s policies and potential for investment in clean energy technology and space technology, as well as opportunities for bilateral cooperation between Thailand and Argentina in advance technology sectors that would be mutually beneficial. He also extended an invitation to INVAP representatives to participate in Thailand Space Week, an annual event showcasing developments in the space industry.
