On 3 March 2026, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat met with Ms. María Jimena Schiaffino, Director of International Security, Nuclear and Space Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina. Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen partnerships between Thailand and Argentina, at both bilateral and multilateral levels, in developing and leveraging satellite and space technology for socio-economic development, promoting civil nuclear cooperation for research and energy transition purposes, as well as strengthening ongoing efforts towards the elimination of anti-personnel landmines under the Ottawa Convention.
