On 8 October 2026, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat attended a working breakfast with members of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce for Asia and the Pacific (Cámara de Comercio Argentina para el Asia y el Pacífico) at the ICBC Bank headquarters in Buenos Aires.

On this occasion, the Ambassador took stock of the current trade and investment relations between Thailand and Argentina that complement each other across various sectors, with Thailand ranking as Argentina’s 10^th largest trading partner globally and 4^th largest trading partner in Asia. The Ambassador also proposed key pathways to foster new business opportunities, reaffirmed the Embassy’s readiness to promote commercial engagement in areas of mutual interest, such as agritech and digital economy, as well as encouraged chamber members to visit Thailand to expand markets and engage in business matching.
