On 18 October 2022, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat visited a Muay Thai training gym in downtown Buenos Aires and met with Miguel Carpinacci, President of Muay Thai Federation of Argentina and some dozens of Muay Thai amateurs from all generations and walks of life who demonstrated keen passion on disciplinary routines, rules and respect vis-à-vis Muay Thai arts. Muay Thai is regaining its popularity after COVID-19 lockdown years, with large number of admirers and several hundreds of training gyms across the country focusing on Muay Thai and other martial arts.
