On 20 November 2025, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat chaired the 45th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Buenos Aires (ACBA).The meeting convened to discuss the outcomes of ACBA's recent activities and to discuss political and economic developments in the Latin American region. Key discussions focused on the outreach visit to Puerto Madryn, Chubut Province—a significant area for trade, investment, seafood, aluminum production, and tourism—as well as the ASEAN awareness-raising seminar held at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires. The committee also reviewed the planning and schedule for forthcoming ACBA activities.
