On 18 March 2026, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat attended a reception marking the 35th anniversary of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce for the Asia-Pacific region.

Thailand reaffirmed its readiness to work closely with the Argentine business sector to further strengthen trade and investment cooperation between the two countries and promote sustained growth.

At present, Argentina is Thailand’s third-largest trading partner in Latin America, with bilateral trade reaching USD 2.253 billion. This reflects the strong potential of economic cooperation and the opportunities to further deepen relations between the two countries in the future.
