Ambassador Krit Tankanarat met with representatives from the Institute of Nuclear Technologies for Health (INTECNUS) Foundation at its medical centre in Bariloche, Río Negro Province. During the visit, he was briefed on the foundation’s leading roles on research and development, personal training and medical services in the field of nuclear medicine, radiotherapy and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. INTECNUS operates with the support of Argentina’s National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) and is internationally recognized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The Ambassador also exchanged views on Thailand’s policy to position itself as a regional medical hub and expressed his willingness to promote medical cooperation between Thailand and Argentina in mutually beneficial fields. This collaboration could be facilitated through the exchange of information, knowledge, and expertise between the two countries.
