On 17 April 2026, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat, together with Heads of Mission of the ASEAN Committee in Buenos Aires (ACBA), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Pablo Quirno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic.

On this occasion, the Ambassador reaffirmed the strong commitment of the Royal Thai Government to further strengthen its partnership with Argentina through proactive economic diplomacy, alongside enhanced cooperation in science, technology, and innovation.

Both sides exchanged views on expanding trade and investment opportunities, exploring potential cooperation in the energy sector, promoting innovation to support future industries, and strengthening people-to-people ties. These efforts aim to further deepen sustainable cooperation between Thailand, ASEAN, and Argentina
