From 31 August to 1 September 2026, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat visited Rosario, Santa Fe Province, to promote economic relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment and technology between Thailand and Santa Fe. The visit aimed to connect the strengths of both sides and translate their economic complementarities into concrete and mutually beneficial business partnerships.

During the visit, the Ambassador participated in the Santa Fe Business Forum 2026, where he delivered remarks on “Business Opportunities in Southeast Asia.” He highlighted Thailand’s potential as a gateway to Southeast Asia, as well as opportunities to link Thailand’s strengths with those of Santa Fe, particularly in agriculture and food industries, agricultural machinery, automotive and auto parts, biotechnology, and supply-chain development.

The Ambassador also held discussions with the Industrial Federation of Santa Fe (FISFE) and the International Chamber of Commerce in Rosario to exchange views on ways to expand cooperation in trade, investment and technology, as well as to hear proposals from local business representatives interested in doing business with Thailand.

Both sides recognized the strong potential for deeper and more complementary cooperation, particularly through business networking, business matching, and stronger linkages between the industrial sectors of Thailand and Santa Fe, with the aim of transforming existing potential into long-term business opportunities and economic partnerships.
