The ASEAN Ambassadors also met with executives of BanCor and some key economic agencies of the Córdoba Province, participated in a seminar “Córdoba looks at the Pacific” at BanCor’s Headquarters in Córdoba, and in a panel discussion on “ASEAN: Opportunities and Challenges” in front of a large group of students and teachers of the Catholic University of Córdoba (UCC) who demonstrated interest in ASEAN.

 

The ASEAN Ambassadors also visited some leading medical equipment and seeds enterprises and met with executives of Promedon, Tecme, Silmag and Peman who had keen interest in expanding market in Asia.

 

Ambassador Krit Tankanarat highlighted the bilateral trade pattern that relied on the automotive industry could be diversified. Companies from both sides could cooperate under the joint venture and get access to a larger market in Asia and Latin America. As a medical tourism hub, for instance, Thailand is also a provider and a demander of health equipment. Ambassador Krit also encouraged both parties to get to know each other better by inviting the Argentine private sector to visit Thailand and to take part in THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2023, one of the largest food & beverage trade exhibitions and sourcing platforms in Asia.
