On 11 September 2025, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat joined the seminar “Opportunities for Marketing and Market Access in Thailand for Patagonia” at the headquarters of CIMA PATAGONIA in Puerto Madryn.

 

The visit formed part of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Argentina , aimed at promoting stronger economic and cultural cooperation.

 

Ambassador Krit emphasized Thailand’s interest in working with ALUAR, Argentina’s only primary aluminium producer, highlighting the complementarity between Patagonia’s aluminium production and Thailand’s expertise in rolling, extrusion, and recycling. He also noted Thailand’s ongoing trade with Greciamar, a seafood exporter from Chubut , as a successful example of bilateral commerce that can inspire new opportunities in other sectors.
