On 12 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Krit Tankanarat held a discussion with Mr. Raúl Martínez Villalba, Director-General of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, at the Ambassador’s Residence, with a view to further strengthening Thailand-Paraguay relations and promoting cooperation in a wide range of areas. These included economic cooperation, visa exemption, tourism promotion, cultural exchanges, development cooperation, as well as collaboration in multilateral frameworks.

On this occasion, both sides also exchanged views on political and economic developments in the ASEAN and MERCOSUR regions. The Paraguayan side was also invited to participate in the International Conference on the Global Partnership against Online Scams, to be held in Bangkok on 17-18 December 2025.
