On 23 April 2026, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat attended the “Destino Tailandia” seminar, organized in collaboration with the Uruguayan Association of Travel Agencies (Asociación Uruguaya de Agencias de Viajes: AUDAVI). The seminar aimed to provide information and showcase Thailand’s tourism potential to tourism operators in Uruguay, while promoting opportunities to build networks and cooperation between the tourism sectors of Thailand and Uruguay.

The event served as an important opportunity to present Thailand as a diverse tourism destination, offering rich culture, natural beauty, renowned cuisine, warm hospitality, and unique travel experiences to the Uruguayan market.
