On 15 November 2022, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat, together with ASEAN Ambassadors (ASEAN Committee in Buenos Aires - ACBA), met with Eduardo Enrique de Pedro, Minister of Interior of Argentina, for a luncheon at Casa Rosada in Buenos Aires to continue strengthening ties and advancing reciprocally in all dimensions of the relations between Argentina and the ASEAN. Minister De Pedro reaffirmed Argentina's willingness to maintain unity with the Southeast Asian region, expressing interest in trade, cultural exchange, and mutual benefits. ASEAN Ambassadors had also met with Minister De Pedro last August in the Province of Catamarca during ACBA’s visit to explore the potential of the ATACALAR region and the Bi-oceanic Corridor, which aimed at bringing Argentina closer to Asia on all counts.
