On June 24, 2025, Thailand engaged in a meeting of the Asian Ambassadors with the Parliamentary Friendship Group focused on the Asian Region at Argentina's National Congress.

 

During this gathering, Chargé d’Affaires Phisek Panupat reiterated Thailand’s dedication to enhancing bilateral relations with Argentina, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic ties. He highlighted the significance of fostering open dialogue, boosting economic collaboration, supporting development in key sectors, and strengthening connections among people through tourism and cultural exchanges.

 

Chaired by Senator Maximiliano Abad, this meeting represented a pivotal advancement towards establishing a collaborative agenda between Argentina and Asian nations, emphasizing the essential role of parliamentary diplomacy in bridging regional gaps.
