On 17 September 2026, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat met with executives and members of the Industrial Union of San Juan (UISJ) and the Foreign Chamber of Commerce of San Juan (CACEX). Both sides exchanged views on the current state of trade and economic cooperation between Thailand and San Juan province, took stock of proposals from local companies interested in doing business with Thailand, as well as discussed ways to connect entrepreneurs and foster business matching in products such as wine, grape juice, raisins, pistachios, olive oil, clean energy technology, and copper products, in support of Thailand’s food processing and manufacturing industries.
