On 8 August 2026, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat, together with officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, attended “Copa Siam” Muay Thai competition at the Ensenada Municipal Sports Centre. The event was organized in collaboration with the Platense Civil Association of High Performance of Muay Thai and brought together Muay Thai athletes, coaches, enthusiasts and members of the media.

On this occasion, Ambassador Krit presented awards to the winners and met with coaches and athletes from different parts of Argentina to exchange views on the promotion and development of Muay Thai in the country.

The event also featured Thai food vendors, providing an opportunity to promote Thai cuisine and culture alongside Muay Thai, and helping to further raise awareness of and interest in Thailand among the Argentine public.
