The Royal Thai Embassy in Buenos Aires extends its close collaboration with the City of Buenos Aires’ local authority

On 14 December 2022, Krit Tankanarat, Ambassador of Thailand to Argentina, called on Florencia Scavino, President of Junta Comunal 13, to discuss future activities of mutual interest and to further cultural collaboration, such as the ASEAN Bazaar which took place last June with great success in the City’s Barrancas de Belgrano Park.
Both sides agreed on mutual benefits, such as the social and cultural activities, as the ASEAN Bazaar, that could bring closer the diplomatic community to local people in terms of cultural exchange and people to people contact, paving the way towards a larger and deeper cooperation in various dimensions.
Ambassador Krit also extended his invitation for the Commune 13 to participate in upcoming events of the ASEAN, which is the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and the ASEAN community in Buenos Aires which includes Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand.
